Lakeside Rodeo Video and Camera Policy

Policy Effective as of August 19, 2015

The Lakeside Rodeo, El Capitan Stadium Association and the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) sanctioning body do not allow for the video recording, transmission, distribution, or selling of any description, account, picture, video, audio or other form of production or reproduction of the 2017 Lakeside Rodeo without prior permission.

Any violation of this policy during a PRCA performance will result in your immediate removal from the premises.

All Bags, Jackets and Blankets will be searched upon entry into the grounds and are subject to security search during the event.

Not Allowed in the Lakeside Rodeo grounds:

  • Camera bags to include backpack style
  • Point and shoot cameras
  • Cameras with detachable lens
  • Tripods
  • Monopods
  • GoPro
  • GoPro with Go Pro Stick
  • Selfie Stick
  • Drones

Photography is Not Allowed in the Arena

No photography or video devices will be allowed inside the Lakeside Rodeo Arena excepting PRCA approved professionals.

Professional Photographers/Videographers - Approval and Badges

Limited Media and Professional Photography Applications are open for the 2017 Lakeside Rodeo. Call 619-561-4331 and request that a Media representative contact you regarding an application. There are limited slots available and you will NOT be able to shoot in the arena, penthouse or chutes area.

All approved photographers and videographers must wear a Lakeside Rodeo Photographer badge (provided) at all times while on the Lakeside Rodeo grounds.
