Miss Rodeo Lakeside 2020 Orientation

Miss Rodeo Lakeside 2020 Contestant Orientation

The Miss Rodeo and Jr Miss Rodeo Lakeside Pageant Orientation for the 2020 crown is July 25, 2019 at the Rodeo grounds Main Hall. The meeting starts at 6pm.

Contestant Requirements:

•Contestants must be able to ride a horse
•Have access to a horse along with truck and trailer
•Commit to practices and meetings
•Have a passion for rodeo and the western way of life!

Contestant Age Requirement:

Junior Miss Rodeo Lakeside must be between 14-17 years old
Miss Rodeo Lakeside must be between 18-25 years old

Pageant date is September 14, 2019

MIss Rodeo Lakeside 2019, Renee Winter MIss Rodeo Lakeside 2019, Renee Winter
Congratulations to Miss Renee Winter, Miss Rodeo Lakeside 2019 who graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician from San Diego' Mesa College in May 2019!

Renee is an all-around accomplished rider and public speaker who has [professionally represented the non-profit El Capitan Stadium Association (ECSA), host of the Annual Lakeside Rodeo, throughout California at multiple events. From parades, to television, at local and state events, and in the rodeo arena, Renee has enjoyed being an ambassador for the Youth of Lakeside, the mission of the ECSA and Lakeside Rodeo.

Renee's duties at the rodeo arena have included carrying flags at high speed on horseback while circling the arena with a confident gorgeous smile, providing assistance in the arena with stock, acting as hostess to visiting rodeo royalty, and riding the rails to greet children and adult fans and sign autographs as well.

Outside the arena, Renee has traveled thousands of miles to represent ECSA and Lakeside Rodeo at California state rodeo and community events. She has appeared on television (click here to see KUSI Lakeside Rodeo interview), has been featured in parades and worked tirelessly to promote Lakeside, CA.

Renee comes from a rodeo queen legacy as her grandmother was the Phoenix Rodeo Queen in 1959 and Renee has proudly carried on the tradition of Rodeo Queen as the 2019 Miss Rodeo Lakeside.
Jr Miss Rodeo Lakeside 2019 Vianette Garcia Jr Miss Rodeo Lakeside 2019 Vianette Garcia
Vianette Garcia is a resident of Valley Center, CA and attends Valley Center High School where she plays on the Valley Center Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams.

Descending from generations of cattle ranchers, Vianette has grounded her heart in the western lifestyle and its values. Vianette aspires to go to Texas A&M and pursue her degree in business, and she would also like to join the Texas A&M Rodeo team for breakaway and barrel racing.

Vianette has held the titles of 2016 Valley Center Rodeo Young Miss and 2017 Jr Miss Bulls Only Rodeo Queen. She was also the 2015 Valley Center Vaqueros Cowboy Challenge Champion.

Vianette has traveled thousands of miles in 2019 to share her love and passion for the sport of Rodeo as the 2019 Jr Miss Rodeo Lakeside Queen. As an ambassador of Rodeo and the El Capitan Stadium Association, she has worked hard at rodeos, in school visits and at community events to inspire the hopes and dreams of the next generation of Rodeo cowboys and cowgirls.
